Starlight Theatre recognizes that it is only as strong as the community it serves and the community relationships it cultivates. We value our partnerships with several leading Kansas City community organizations. Starlight Theatre, a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is operated in agreement with the Kansas City, Missouri Parks and Recreation. Starlight is located in Swope Park, one of the oldest and largest among Kansas City’s 200+ parks.

Starlight Theatre expresses its appreciation to the Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City and the ArtsKC Fund for designating our outdoor theatre as an Ovation grant recipient. The ArtsKC Fund, which was initiated in 2007, has provided Starlight with funding to support our educational programs, community outreach and operations.

Starlight Theatre is pleased to be an active partner of the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association. The association markets Starlight and more than 1,600 other members to the 16.5 million business and leisure visitors who travel to Kansas City each year.
